Geogebra resources go live!
Have you ever used Geogebra? It’s a fantastic piece of free software that you can use to enhance you maths teaching. It combines graph-plotting capabilities with dynamic geometry; think Omnigraph and The Geometer’s Sketchpad in one program that is easier to use, more intuitive and looks a lot better!
I’m certainly in the ‘beginner-to-medium ability user’ cateogory myself but am learning quickly. I have so far created dynamic geometry Geogebra files to show the Circle Theorems that are taught at GCSE. There is a whole new page on the website called ‘Geogebra Resources’ that you can access from the menu at the top of the page or by clicking here. All the Circle Theorem files are up there at the moment and I shall add more to the page as they are created.
I’d love to know what you think of the Circle Theorem files so drop me a line in the comments if you can find a spare moment…
